ABOUT US
I am Chris Chukwunyere, an international development strategist, global health advocate, and programme management expert with over 15 years of multidisciplinary experience in health systems strengthening, cancer control, global health security, research, strategic partnerships, and resource mobilization.
As a public health professional, I am deeply committed to advancing health equity and driving sustainable social impact. My career has taken me across diverse global contexts, including Liberia, Nigeria, Switzerland, the United States, and Zambia, where I have worked at the intersection of policy, innovation, and advocacy to improve outcomes for vulnerable populations.
I currently serve as the City Manager for Abuja at City Cancer Challenge (C/Can), where I provide strategic leadership in coordinating local implementation of C/Can’s city-wide cancer care initiative in collaboration, with a wide network of stakeholders to improve access to quality cancer care.
In addition, I am the co-founder of Inspire World International Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to human and health systems development through health interventions, economic empowerment, and community development programs.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science and a Masters in Business Administration, and I am proud to be an alumnus of the Information Futures Lab Fellowship at Brown University, the Atlas Corps Fellowship, and the StartingBloc Fellowship. I am also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria (CIPMN).
